Be part of a growing NHS Leaders’ Wellbeing Faculty of national spread in-house facilitators across systems and within organisations. The faculty is actively sponsored by Sir Jim Mackey.
The NHS Leaders’ Wellbeing Programme covers material that is fundamental to creating a healthy culture, including developing leaders’ own wellbeing alongside the leadership skills and attitudes that are proven to build staff wellbeing.
What would I learn?
The course is designed to make participation as easy and engaging as possible, through interactive online learning spaced over 2 months. It involves experiencing the programme as a participant (1 day), as well as practising leading the programme across three modules (3 x 0.5 days):
Ensures leaders understand the importance of wellbeing to patient care and staff culture. Equips leaders with tools and techniques to look after themselves as a starting point.
Explores how leaders can manage pressure productively and use healthy leadership behaviours to foster staff wellbeing.
Examines the real impact and practical steps leaders can take to improve team wellbeing such as building psychological safety and QI approaches.
Participants will then be ready to deliver NHS Leaders’ Wellbeing Local. Once local cohorts are live, we ask facilitators to engage in at least three, two-hour, online NHS Leaders’ Wellbeing Faculty Communities of practice with faculty from across the country, offering live supervision and active continuing professional development.
