This Policy describes how Living Potential Ltd will collect, use and protect personal data about individuals and what rights these individuals have over their data.
For the purpose of data protection legislation, which includes the Data Protection Act 2018; and the General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the “GDPR”)), or such replacement thereof in the UK, Living Potential Ltd is the "data controller". This means that Living Potential Ltd is responsible for deciding how we collect, use and store personal data about an individual.

The type of personal information we collect:
We currently collect and process the following information:
Individual’s contact details (eg first name, surname, email address), information relating to individual’s employment (eg. job title, employing organisation and banding) and special category data (eg. racial or ethnic origin, disability, gender, religious or philosophical beliefs and data concerning a person’s sexual orientation), where they are provided to us.
Information that individuals provide by filling in forms on our site at https://livingpotentialconsulting.com/. This includes information provided when requesting information on our products and services, subscribing to email communications on our services, research and reports, posting material or requesting further services. We may also ask for information when reporting a problem with our site.
Information provided by filling in forms on third party sites, including https://www.surveymonkey.com/ and https://www.learnworlds.com This includes information provided when completing an application or registration form for one of our programmes, or completing a survey.
If an individual contacts us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
Details of visits to our website including, but not limited to: traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that are accessed.
How we get the personal information and why we have it:
Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly for one of the following reasons:
Customer care.
To contact individuals for market research purposes.
Transmission of data to suppliers and/or service providers of Living Potential Ltd services. We may also share your personal data between suppliers and/or service providers of Living Potential Ltd services where relevant under our contractual obligations. (b) Where we have a contractual obligation. Living Potential Ltd is required to use an individual’s data in order to deliver a contract, such as a development programme or coaching. In addition to this, it is necessary to use this data in order to take specific steps prior to entering into the contract.
(f) Where we have a legitimate interest. Processing an individual’s personal data is necessary to support a legitimate interest of Living Potential Ltd, or another party, only where this is not outweighed by an individual’s own interest.

How we store your personal information?
Automated processing of data:
For information specifically on cookies and tracking on our website, please see our Cookie Policy. When individuals first visit our website, they will be presented with a cookie banner which allows them to make an informed choice about which types of cookies to accept on their device. Individuals can also stop tracking at any time by using private browsing mode.
When individuals interact with us, for example by booking onto a programme or event or opening an email we have sent, we may keep a record of this information on our systems and use it to determine their interests. We automatically generate data from certain interactions which allows us to tailor our communications so that they are relevant and assist individuals in accessing the information and products that may interest them. In addition, if they have consented to tracking cookies, some of their past browsing history on our site will also be available to help us more effectively engage with them.
Protection of personal data:
We are committed to holding personal data provided to us securely.
Where personal information is held electronically, it is held on a computer system that is owned and controlled by Living Potential Consulting or such other suppliers and/or service providers appointed by Living Potential Consulting.
Living Potential Consulting stores your details, in both paper and electronic format. Paper copies are held securely by our staff or contractors. Sometimes we will make electronic copies of paper documents. These documents or information are then stored on our computer system.
All the information that individuals provide to us will be transmitted to and stored on our secure servers or the servers of such other third party who we may appoint to deliver our contractual obligations.
Where a password which enables individuals to access certain parts of our online service has been provided, individuals are responsible for keeping this password confidential and are not permitted to share this password with anyone.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at the individual’s own risk. Once we have received information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.
We will only retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for. For example, if an individual participates in a leadership development programme, we will retain their personal information for as long as the programme is active, for as long as the participant wishes to engage with the programme, or until it ceases to exist.
Any paper records will be destroyed using a confidential service and all electronic data deleted from our servers.

As with most organisations, Living Potential Ltd uses service providers to support the delivery of services and to keep an individual’s personal data secure.
When Living Potential Ltd uses service providers, it is necessary that personal data is shared with them.
When using a service provider, Living Potential Ltd will ensure that it relies on legitimate interest to do so and ensures there are agreements in place with all service providers to oblige them to protect an individual’s personal data and that they can only process the data based on the instructions.
Living Potential Ltd will ensure that the service providers with whom we share your personal information will process it in accordance with this policy, and will securely dispose of your personal information when it is no longer required.
